About

The motiveSpace Coalition is a nonprofit group of progressive neighbors and community leaders in Portland, Oregon. With the support of staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders, motiveSpace Members research and activate cooperative, bottom-up, and non-speculative neighborhood development projects. Currently comprised of 16 Leadership Members, 5 partnering Members, 5 Coalition-supported projects, and 20 Supporting Members, motiveSpace represents a true wealth and diversity of non-profit, private, governmental and grassroots organizations throughout Portland.

Standing together, the Coalition Membership represents some of our region’s leading minds in relation to sustainability, planning, economics, and development. In keeping with our Mission MotiveSpace is an Open Coalition — that means anyone and everyone is welcome to join in the discussion, or find a way to plugin to a neighborhood project in their area.
